Auto Bild India proudly presents the Golden Steering Wheel awards which acknowledge cars from different segments including green cars like LPG/CNG run cars. Our readers also get to choose their own favourite car of the year.

It is recognised as the most important award for cars in Europe. The Golden Steering Wheel was instituted by the Axel Springer in 1976, the parent company of Auto Bild, and has been awarded annually since then.

Auto Bild India, being the youngest automobile magazine in the business, has decided to introduce this mother of all car awards, which will consist of 33 cars and 14 different categories.

There are eight awards dedicated to different car segments and the categories are: Best Import Luxury Car, Best Import Sports car, Best Import SUV, Best Sedan, Best Small Car, Best SUV/UV and Green Steering Wheel.
